Where is Hamlin PA? WHAT is in Hamlin PA?
Hamlin is centrally located between Scranton, Honesdale, and Hawley PA. It is an excellent spot to live because many of the major areas for work in this region are within a drive of 30 minutes or less. ..easy access to Interstate 84 and proximity to Interstate 380 make this an excellent commuter landing spot!

Lodging: Comfort Inn @ Twin Rocks
Merchants: Dollar General, Twinkle Toes Children’s Shoes and Accessories, Radio Shack, Classic Candles and Gifts, Past Impressions Antiques, Butler’s Furniture
Bakeries/Bagels: Minooka Pastry Shop (featuring gluten-free products), Jessica’s Bagel Bin
Automotive: Advanced Auto Parts, Jack Williams Tire and Auto, Ernie’s Transmission (thank goodness for them when two of our Dodge vans needed new transmissions – I hate Dodge but love Ernie’s!)
Banks: Honesdale National Bank, Wayne Bank (in Weis Market) Pennstar Bank
Library: Salem Public Library, part of the Wayne County Library System
Convenience Stores/Gas Stations: Exxon, Shell, and Sunoco, all with respective stores (but the Sunoco Mart has Green Mountain Coffee. It will always be the Mobil Mart to me, though…)
In addition to these businesses, there are also multiple health care offices – doctors and dentists alike.
All of these wonderful businesses are within a few mintutes drive (or less) of this fantastic home for sale. Think of the gas you’ll save by not having to drive miles and miles each way to run errands.
